Reflecting

I believe this project has provided me with a valuable learning experience. While I recognize that the prototype and stylistic elements were not my strongest areas, I appreciate the opportunity to stretch beyond my comfort zone. Engaging in this process has allowed me to explore new concepts and techniques that I previously hadn't considered, ultimately improving my skills and perspectives. I feel that the final outcome does not fully showcase my highest level of skill and creativity. I am eager to further refine my abilities and demonstrate my true potential in future.

To start of my project, I begin by creating a detailed mind map. This visual approach allows me to explore a variety of ideas and concepts, effectively broadening my thinking process. By organizing my thoughts in a hierarchical format, I can identify connections between different themes and topics. This structured method not only clarifies my ideas but also guides me towards the next crucial steps in my research, ensuring a foundation for my project.

Researching websites

I began by diving into a thorough exploration of various websites that might offer valuable insights and inspiration for my project. As I navigated through different platforms, analysing their layouts, user interfaces, and functionalities, taking note of what made them particularly engaging or effective. To organize my thoughts and ideas, I utilized sticky notes, wrote down key features that stood out to for me such as intuitive navigation, visually appealing design elements, and compelling content strategies. This method allowed me to create a visual map of innovative ideas and best practices that I could potentially incorporate into my own project.

Given that the topic revolves around music, I decided to focus my efforts on various music platforms. My goal is to gain a deeper understanding of the preferences and interests of users while they engage with these platforms. By exploring different features, playlists, and genres that people gravitate towards, I aimed at uncovering what makes their listening experiences enjoyable and fulfilling.

Analyzing Spotify's web flow to understand how the platform effectively designs a user-friendly and intuitive navigation experience. This involves examining the streamlined layout, the use of visuals, and the overall structure that allows users to easily access their favorite music, podcasts, and playlists. By studying these elements, I aiming identifying the best practices that contribute browsing experience on the website.
